Soit f:x∈R⋆⟼(ln⁡(x))2f : x \in \mathbb{R}^\star \longmapsto \big( \ln(x) \big)^2.
On note par FF l'expression de ses primitives.
Question 1

Déterminer l'expression de FF.

Correction
On cherche :
F(x)=∫(ln⁡(x))2 dx=∫(ln⁡(x)×ln⁡(x)) dxF(x) = \int \big( \ln(x) \big)^2 \, dx = \int \big( \ln(x) \times \ln(x) \big) \, dx
A l'aide d'une intégration par parties, et en se souvenant qu'une primitive de ln⁡(x)\ln(x) est xln⁡(x)−xx \ln(x) - x, on obtient :
F(x)=∫(ln⁡(x))2 dx=(xln⁡(x)−x)ln⁡(x)−∫((xln⁡(x)−x)×1x) dxF(x) = \int \big( \ln(x) \big)^2 \, dx = \big( x \ln(x) - x \big) \ln(x) - \int \left( \big(x \ln(x) - x \big) \times \dfrac{1}{x} \right) \, dx
Soit :
F(x)=∫(ln⁡(x))2 dx=xln⁡2(x)−xln⁡(x)−∫(ln⁡(x)−1) dxF(x) = \int \big( \ln(x) \big)^2 \, dx = x \ln^2(x) - x \ln(x) - \int \big(\ln(x) - 1 \big) \, dx
Avec :
∫(ln⁡(x)−1) dx=∫ln⁡(x) dx−∫1 dx=xln⁡(x)−x−x+Q   (Q∈R)\int \big(\ln(x) - 1 \big) \, dx = \int \ln(x) \, dx - \int 1 \, dx = x \ln(x) - x - x + Q \,\,\, (Q \in \mathbb{R})
D'où :
F(x)=∫(ln⁡(x))2 dx=xln⁡2(x)−xln⁡(x)−(xln⁡(x)−x−x)+K   (K∈R)F(x) = \int \big( \ln(x) \big)^2 \, dx = x \ln^2(x) - x \ln(x) - \big(x \ln(x) - x - x \big) + K \,\,\, (K \in \mathbb{R})
Ce qui nous donne :
F(x)=∫(ln⁡(x))2 dx=xln⁡2(x)−xln⁡(x)−xln⁡(x)+2x+K   (K∈R)F(x) = \int \big( \ln(x) \big)^2 \, dx = x \ln^2(x) - x \ln(x) - x \ln(x) + 2x + K \,\,\, (K \in \mathbb{R})
Soit encore :
F(x)=∫(ln⁡(x))2 dx=xln⁡2(x)−2xln⁡(x)+2x+K   (K∈R)F(x) = \int \big( \ln(x) \big)^2 \, dx = x \ln^2(x) - 2x \ln(x) + 2x + K \,\,\, (K \in \mathbb{R})
Finalement :
F(x)=∫(ln⁡(x))2 dx=x(ln⁡2(x)−2ln⁡(x)+2)+K   (K∈R)F(x) = \int \big( \ln(x) \big)^2 \, dx = x \left( \ln^2(x) - 2 \ln(x) + 2 \right) + K \,\,\, (K \in \mathbb{R})
Question 2

Déterminer la primitive de ff, notée F,\mathcal{F}, qui s'annule lorsque x=1x =1.

Correction
On a :
F(x=1)=0\mathcal{F}(x=1) = 0
Soit :
1(ln⁡2(1)−2ln⁡(1)+2)+K=01 \left( \ln^2(1) - 2 \ln(1) + 2 \right) + K = 0
Comme ln⁡(1)=0\ln(1) = 0 on a alors :
2+K=02 + K = 0
Donc K=−2K = -2. Finalement :
F(x)=x(ln⁡2(x)−2ln⁡(x)+2)−2\mathcal{F}(x) = x \left( \ln^2(x) - 2 \ln(x) + 2 \right) - 2
Question 3

Déterminer la valeur de l'intégrale a=∫0ef(x) dxa = \int_0^e f(x) \, dx.

Correction
On a :
a=∫0ef(x) dx=F(x=e)−F(x=1)a = \int_0^e f(x) \, dx = \mathcal{F}(x=e) - \mathcal{F}(x=1)
Mais F(x=1)=0\mathcal{F}(x=1) = 0. Donc :
a=∫0ef(x) dx=F(x=e)−0=F(x=e)=e(ln⁡2(e)−2ln⁡(e)+2)−2a = \int_0^e f(x) \, dx = \mathcal{F}(x=e) - 0 = \mathcal{F}(x=e) = e \left( \ln^2(e) - 2 \ln(e) + 2 \right) - 2
Or ln⁡(e)=1\ln(e) = 1. D'où :
a=∫0ef(x) dx=e(12−2×1+2)−2=e(1−2+2)−2=e(1)−2a = \int_0^e f(x) \, dx = e \left( 1^2 - 2\times1 + 2 \right) - 2 = e \left( 1 - 2 + 2 \right) - 2 = e(1) - 2
Finalement :
a=∫0ef(x) dx=(e−2)  u.a.≃0,72  u.a.a = \int_0^e f(x) \, dx = (e - 2) \,\, u.a. \simeq 0,72 \,\, u.a.
A l'aide d'un logiciel de calcul formel, on obtient, par exemple :
