Question 1

Soit ff une application linéaire de R2\mathbb{R}^2 dans R3\mathbb{R}^3 tel que f(x ; y)=(x+y ; 2(x+y) ; 3(x+y))f(x\,;\,y) = (x+y \,;\, 2(x+y) \,;\, 3(x+y)).
Déterminer le noyau de ff.

Correction
On a :
(x,y)∈Ker(f)⟺f(x,y)=(0,0,0)\left(x,y\right)\in \mathrm{Ker}\left(f\right)\Longleftrightarrow f\left(x,y\right)=\left(0,0,0\right)
Soit :
(x,y)∈Ker(f)⟺{(x ; y)∈R2  ∣  (x+y ; 2(x+y) ; 3(x+y))=(0 ; 0 ; 0)}\left(x,y\right)\in \mathrm{Ker}\left(f\right)\Longleftrightarrow \left\lbrace (x\,;\,y) \in \mathbb{R}^2 \,\, | \,\, (x+y \,;\, 2(x+y) \,;\, 3(x+y)) = (0\,;\,0\,;\,0) \right\rbrace
Ainsi :
(x,y)∈Ker(f)⟺{(x ; y)∈R2  ∣  x+y=0 ; 2(x+y)=0 ; 3(x+y)=0}\left(x,y\right)\in \mathrm{Ker}\left(f\right)\Longleftrightarrow \left\lbrace (x\,;\,y) \in \mathbb{R}^2 \,\, | \,\, x+y = 0 \,;\, 2(x+y) = 0 \,;\, 3(x+y) = 0 \right\rbrace
Donc :
(x,y)∈Ker(f)⟺{(x ; y)∈R2  ∣  x+y=0}\left(x,y\right)\in \mathrm{Ker}\left(f\right)\Longleftrightarrow \left\lbrace (x\,;\,y) \in \mathbb{R}^2 \,\, | \,\, x+y = 0 \right\rbrace
Ce qui nous donne :
(x,y)∈Ker(f)⟺{(x ; y)∈R2  ∣  y=−x}\left(x,y\right)\in \mathrm{Ker}\left(f\right)\Longleftrightarrow \left\lbrace (x\,;\,y) \in \mathbb{R}^2 \,\, | \,\, y = -x \right\rbrace
Ce qui nous permet d'écrire que :
(x,y)∈Ker(f)⟺{(x ; −x)∈R2  ∣  x∈R}\left(x,y\right)\in \mathrm{Ker}\left(f\right)\Longleftrightarrow \left\lbrace (x\,;\,-x) \in \mathbb{R}^2 \,\, | \,\, x \in \mathbb{R} \right\rbrace
Finalement :
(x,y)∈Ker(f)⟺{x(1 ; −1)∈R2  ∣  x∈R}\left(x,y\right)\in \mathrm{Ker}\left(f\right)\Longleftrightarrow \left\lbrace x(1\,;\,-1) \in \mathbb{R}^2 \,\, | \,\, x \in \mathbb{R} \right\rbrace
Ker(f)=Vect{(1;−1) }\mathrm{Ker}\left(f\right)=\mathrm{Vect}\left\{\left(1;-1\right)\ \right\}
En conclusion, le noyau de l'application linéaire ff est la droite vectorielle du plan R2\mathbb{R}^2 qui admet (1 ; −1)(1\,;\,-1) comme vecteur directeur.
