On considère la fonction ff définie et dérivable sur R\mathbb{R} par f(x)=ax3+bx+cf\left(x\right)=ax^{3}+bx+caa, bb et cc sont trois réels. On sait que f(1)=5f\left(1\right)=5 ; f(0)=4f'\left(0\right)=-4 et f(1)=2f'\left(1\right)=2.
Question 1

Déterminer les valeurs de aa, bb et cc de la fonction ff.

Correction
Nous savons que f(x)=ax3+bx+cf\left(x\right)=ax^{3}+bx+c
ff est dérivable sur R\mathbb{R}.
La dérivée de ff est alors : f(x)=3ax2+bf'\left(x\right)=3ax^{2}+b.
Nous savons également que : f(1)=5f\left(1\right)=5 ; f(0)=4f'\left(0\right)=-4 et f(1)=2f'\left(1\right)=2.
Ainsi :
  • f(1)=5a×13+b×1+c=5a+b+c=5f\left(1\right)=5\Leftrightarrow a\times 1^{3} +b\times 1+c=5\Leftrightarrow a+b+c=5
  • f(0)=43×a×02+b=4b=4f'\left(0\right)=-4\Leftrightarrow 3\times a\times 0^{2} +b=-4\Leftrightarrow b=-4
  • f(1)=23×a×12+b=23a+b=2f'\left(1\right)=2\Leftrightarrow 3\times a\times 1^{2} +b=2\Leftrightarrow 3a+b=2
Il nous faut donc résoudre le système suivant :
{a+b+c=5b=43a+b=2\left\{\begin{array}{ccc} {a+b+c} & {=} & {5} \\ {b} & {=} & {-4} \\ {3a+b} & {=} & {2} \end{array}\right. équivaut successivement à :
{a4+c=5b=43a4=2\left\{\begin{array}{ccc} {a-4+c} & {=} & {5} \\ {b} & {=} & {-4} \\ {3a-4} & {=} & {2} \end{array}\right.
{a+c=9b=43a=6\left\{\begin{array}{ccc} {a+c} & {=} & {9} \\ {b} & {=} & {-4} \\ {3a} & {=} & {6} \end{array}\right.
{a+c=9b=4a=2\left\{\begin{array}{ccc} {a+c} & {=} & {9} \\ {b} & {=} & {-4} \\ {a} & {=} & {2} \end{array}\right.
{2+c=9b=4a=2\left\{\begin{array}{ccc} {2+c} & {=} & {9} \\ {b} & {=} & {-4} \\ {a} & {=} & {2} \end{array}\right.
{c=7b=4a=2\left\{\begin{array}{ccc} {c} & {=} & {7} \\ {b} & {=} & {-4} \\ {a} & {=} & {2} \end{array}\right.
Finalement , la fonction ff s'écrit :
f(x)=2x34x+7f\left(x\right)=2x^{3}-4x+7
