Calculer le périmètre de chaque cercle, avec π≈3,14\pi\approx 3{,}14.
Question 1

un cercle de diamètre 5 cm5\text{ cm}

Correction
  • Le périmètre d'un cercle est proportionnel à son diamètre : P=π×dP=\pi\times d, avec π≈3,14\pi\approx 3{,}14.
  • Comme d=2×rd=2\times r, on a aussi P=2×π×rP=2\times\pi\times r.
P≈3,14×5 cm=15,7 cmP\approx 3{,}14\times 5\text{ cm}=15{,}7\text{ cm}.
Ainsi :
P≈15,7 cmP\approx 15{,}7\text{ cm}
Question 2

un cercle de rayon 6 cm6\text{ cm}

Correction
On calcule d'abord le diamètre : 2×6 cm=12 cm2\times 6\text{ cm}=12\text{ cm}. Puis P≈3,14×12 cm=37,68 cmP\approx 3{,}14\times 12\text{ cm}=37{,}68\text{ cm}.
Ainsi :
P≈37,68 cmP\approx 37{,}68\text{ cm}
Question 3

un cercle de diamètre 1,2 m1{,}2\text{ m}

Correction
P≈3,14×1,2 m=3,768 mP\approx 3{,}14\times 1{,}2\text{ m}=3{,}768\text{ m}, soit environ 3,77 m3{,}77\text{ m} au centimètre près.
Ainsi :
P≈3,768 mP\approx 3{,}768\text{ m}
